FSP Phone Services will have an Android based smart DECT phone built with the ability to connect with the DECT ATAs. IN addition, a commitment of security updates and OS upgrades will be made for the next three years. The concept is simple, instead of a cellular radio in the phone, there will be a DECT radio in the phone. This will mean that the phone will not have an SMS client like Messages, but this will not be important. Contacts will be managed by using the WiFi antenna in the phone, and this will also mean that a SIP client can be installed for other service providers.
The phone will have a 6″ 18:9 screen with 2160×1080 resolution for a total of 402ppi. All devices will have a 3750mAh battery, and USB-C for charging. A Snapdragon 425 CPU and an Adreno 630 GPU will be installed. The phone will have 4GB of memory, and 64GB of storage. There will be micro-SD card slot. There is Bluetooth 5, NFC, GPS, and WiFi-5. There is also an 8MP 720p front side camera for video chatting, and taking selfies. The right hand side has a textured power button which also doubles as a fingerprint reader. The volume rocker is below the power button.
